I talked to Rikur about installing Solar on my roof. They were able to take my address and see the roofline on Google Maps right from their office. They provided me a price right away, and handled all of the required paperwork. Kol was super freindly and professional. When the install date was scheduled they were in and out in less than a day and I was generating power to offset my electricity bill that day!!! Wow, who knew it was going to be so fast. The crew was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly ... no mess, no fuss, and full cleanup afterwards. Kol took the time to explain the system and it has been working great ever since. I definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants solar.

We were looking to add a solar PV system, connected to BC Hydro via net metering, to our home renovation. After interviewing a number of solar system suppliers/installers, we selected Rikur Engergy. We went through a number of iterations of potential solar array layouts, and Rikur worked well with us to provide accurate costing, and pluses and minuses of each of our choices. The background information on both their previous installations and the equipment they recommended to us was accurate, timely and helped us immensely in determining the correct configuration. They worked well in communicating the electrical requirements so that our renovation electrician could provide the necessary wiring infrastructure for the solar system installation (and their electrician). We live in highly regulated municipality, and Rikur worked well with us in obtaining the necessary permits for the installation. Installation took less than a day, and the crew was well prepared with the necessary components, tools, etc. to make the installation seem effortless. They answered all my questions during the installation, provided a tour/overview of what work they had done, and the next steps to take (e.g. have their electrician connect to the electrical panel with the appropriate shutoffs, co-ordinate inspection and approval from the municipality, etc.), and left the site clean and tidy. The electrical inspection was issue-fee, and the inspector was quite complementary of Rikur's work (solar panel mounting system, inverter configuration and wiring, shutoffs, etc.). Rikur followed up the installation with delivery and installation of the appropriate safety and configuration placards for the electrical panel, and installation/commissioning/testing of the cloud-based wireless solar panel/inverter data collection hub. Overall, Rikur fully met my expectations with no issues at all with responsive service. System configuration - 16 x 300W panels (5 kW), in 2 banks.

A neighbour on Bowen recommended reaching out to Kol at Rikur when we were pricing and looking into solar solutions for our new cabin. Of all the places we chatted with, Rikur was by far the best - pricing was equivalent or better than the other competitors but the biggest deciding factor was that their technicians and services are local, so if we ever need maintenance or repairs in the future we won't have to deal with anything long distance. Installation was painless and their service comes with an app where you can see an overview of your solar energy over time. I've already recommended Rikur Energy to everyone I know looking to setup solar panels and we've all been so impressed with their products and services!

We are happy to say that we recently had a 12.3 kw/h solar array installed. I come from an industry that required cable management and racking systems. Kol and his team easily met my high standards. Rikur Energy was very thorough, from the proposal and site evaluation, through to ordering, install, and monitoring. All staff were professional, friendly and helpful, and we were very happy with the results and function of the system. The company assessed in the interface and applications with the power utility company, and helped set up all accounts on our behalf, including the charger station. All products used are high quality, from local and credible manufacturers, and backed by proper warranties and support. We are definitely interested in using them on our next project, and would highly recommend to others.

I am extremely happy with my system. I have produced over 5mwhr of power since it’s been installed (just under three months on a 10.1kw system). Beyond my expectations. We love our solar system from Rikur. They did a beautiful job on the installation at it's cranking out ~90KwH per day this summer. Our total energy costs to BC Hydro for the past 12 months, INCLUDING our battery (i.e. now solar) powered car and air conditioning during the heat waves, was $745! Rikur was very responsive and professional to work with. Additionally, their estimate of how much the system would generate was very close to what we have experienced (less than 10% difference ... not bad considering the weather. does vary!)

The Rikur team provided a detailed proposal and completed the install when promised. My 5Kw system performed flawlessly and powered my AC during the hottest days last summer. The AP systems app provides a clear picture of what the system is doing and I feel good about how much energy I have produced and how much CO2 I've reduced.

Rikur Energy estimated, quoted and installed our solar array system in May 2022. The 33 solar panels, Enphase micro-inverter system and BC Hydro net-metering connection installed and arranged by Rikur have all worked flawlessly. I was happy with their knowledge, service and professionalism at all stages of the process to add solar to our 35 year old home. 👍 A year later, I am MORE than happy with the impact the Rikur solar array has made on our energy consumption, our BC Hydro energy costs, and the reduction in our contribution to greenhouse gas reduction the Rikur system is achieving. 🙏 We now heat/cool our house with a heat pump and we are driving our EV on sunshine! 😎 In short Rikur was a great company to do business with and has great people to support their clients.

Rikur Energy made our switch to solar EASY. The team gave us options to consider for both the panels and inverters as we searched for the best combination of price, power and efficiency. Our 36 panels went up in less than two days, even though our roof slope is steeper than most. Rikur’s roofing expertise is a real asset for installation. The team handled all the paper work involved with the net metering system offered via BC Hydro, which is a great program that means you don’t need to purchase batteries. Minimal electrical work was required for our project. We didn't need to swap out our existing panel because we had room to add three new breakers -- that's all it took. When the team's electrician had a distracted day and there were a couple of minor glitches, Kol and Aaron were on top of these right away to deliver solutions. Our biggest challenge was the monitoring system, because our panels are located further from our wifi system than is the case with most households, so the inverters had a more difficult time "talking" to our smart phone monitoring app. While it took numerous tweaks to get the monitoring system working optimally with our wifi, Kol and Aaron were dogged in their determination to see it through. We are really appreciative, and absolutely LOVE our new solar system. It now produces all of our electricity. The electricity is clean, carbon free, and inexpensive (especially if you take advantage of the green energy loan made available by Vancity Credit Union if needing financing, like we did). We expect to save thousands and thousands in electrical costs over the life of the panels. Thanks Rikur Energy!

Fast solar panel installation. Excellent electrical work. Netmetering took a bit of time but able to use solar power in the mean time as you are waiting(ie power when there is sunlight)
